Description
Mauritshuis is a unique art museum in the heart of The Hague, housed in a 17th-century city palace. The collection includes some 800 paintings, mostly masterpieces of Dutch and Flemish Golden Age painting.
It is here that you can admire Vermeer's famous 'Girl with a Pearl', Rembrandt's 'Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Tulp' or Fabritius' 'The Pissant'. The building itself is a work of art - designed by Jacob van Campen and Pieter Post.
For art and history lovers, this is a must-see place when visiting the Netherlands!
