Description
Pescante de Agulo is a fascinating historical monument on the island of La Gomera. This former wooden suspension bridge played a key role in the region's economy in the 20th century, enabling the export of bananas and tomatoes.
Today, only the ruins of the stone and mortar structure remain, but the site impresses with incredible views of the surrounding landscape and majestic Mount Teide.
It's an ideal place for history and nature lovers, and a starting point for hiking, including the popular route to Alto de Garajonay.
