Haus Werth

Haus Werth is a fascinating historical monument in the Kaiserswerth district of Düsseldorf, dating back to the 8th century.

The site is famous for the ruins of the medieval Barbarossa imperial palace (Kaiserpfalz) from the 12th century, which was once a powerful customs fortress. The surrounding area is stunning with 17th-century house facades, often built with stones from the former palace.
