Hintersee / Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden

Hintersee / Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden is a picturesque lake located in the Berchtesgaden National Park in the Bavarian Alps.

The crystal clear water surrounded by majestic mountains creates a fairytale setting that delights photographers and nature lovers. Particularly charming is the Zauberwald (Magic Forest) adjacent to the lake, adding a mysterious touch to the place.

There are numerous hiking trails around the lake, including the 2.5 km Prinzregent-Luitpold-Weg, which can be covered in about 45 minutes. You can also rent a boat or, for the brave, take a dip in the icy waters fed by mountain streams.
