Description
Grantham House is a medieval house from the 14th century that impresses with its mix of architectural styles. The 1735 Georgian façade conceals a Tudor-styled interior with a central hall, drawing room and main staircase.
Round and square towers and an arched loggia surround the space, creating a unique atmosphere of history. Seven acres of fenced gardens descend to the banks of the River Witham, offering a peaceful oasis for nature and history lovers.
The gardens include a 13th-century entrance and a Roman amphora brought from Italy by Lady Berwick - true treasures for history enthusiasts.
