Description
Glencoe Lochan Trail is a scenic trail located in the heart of Scotland's Glencoe, surrounded by majestic trees and mountain peaks.
The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the lake, in which the surrounding peaks are reflected. The trail was created in the 1890s by Lord Strathcona, who planted Canadian conifers to remind his wife of her homeland.
There are three different trails, ranging from 1.6 to 2.5 kilometers in length, to suit different fitness levels. The red trail is the easiest and wheelchair-accessible, while the blue requires better fitness.
