Miltenberg am Main

Miltenberg am Main is a charming medieval town located on the Men River in Bavaria. It impresses with more than 100 historic half-timbered houses, some of which date back to the 14th century.

Strolling along the cobblestone streets, one can admire the picturesque Schnatterloch market square and the impressive Mildenburg Castle offering panoramic views of the river valley.

The town is also famous for Germany's oldest inn, Hotel Zum Riesen, which hosted emperors and Napoleon. The surrounding hills of Spessart and Odenwald provide excellent hiking.
