Teufelskadrich bei Lorch is a scenic forest area in Germany that is part of a European Natura 2000 nature reserve.
The place hides a fascinating legend about Garlinda, the daughter of the knight Sibo von Lorch, who was kidnapped by the devil and imprisoned on top of Kadrich. Only the young knight Rudhelm, with the help of dwarves, managed to free her.
The 380-hectare area offers a variety of hiking trails with breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley. It's a nature lover's paradise, where you can enjoy unique plant habitats and observe rare animal species such as the wall lizard and the Little Schiller butterfly.
