Black Forest Open Air Museum

Black Forest Open Air Museum is a fascinating journey back in time to old life in the Black Forest. Six authentic historic farms from the 16th-18th centuries have been painstakingly relocated and rebuilt in one place, creating a unique exhibition.

On site, visitors can enjoy demonstrations of traditional crafts, such as the making of the famous Bollenhut hats and braiding. A herb garden with more than 130 species of medicinal plants and livestock complete the picture of old country life.
