Pile Dwelling Museum

Pile Dwelling Museum is one of the largest and oldest outdoor archaeological museums in Europe.

It contains 23 reconstructions of Stone Age and Bronze Age pile settlements that have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Interactive exhibits show the life of the ancient inhabitants - you can see tools for basket weaving, woodworking and nets and spears for fishing.

The museum offers special educational programs for families and children, including simulated archaeological digs and fun educational stations.
