Müritzeum

Müritzeum is a unique nature discovery center and museum in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

It has Germany's largest aquarium showcasing native freshwater species, with more than 50 different species of fish on display in a 100,000-liter tank.

Interactive thematic exhibitions take you on a journey from the Ice Age to the present day, showcasing the wealth of local wildlife. The museum has an impressive collection of some 275,000 exhibits, including shells, insects, eggs and bird specimens.
