Description
Graven House Castle is a medieval castle complex surrounded by a moat, which was rebuilt after the Thirty Years' War in 1656. It has belonged to the town of Langenfeld since 2010.
It is a place teeming with cultural life - exhibitions, concerts, lectures and theatrical performances are held here. There is a Castle Festival in the summer, and special Christmas events during Advent.
The castle is an ideal place for family outings - you can relax in the cafe serving homemade baked goods and explore the beautiful hiking trails, including the Neandersteig section.
