El Nino

El Nino is a unique bronze sculpture by German sculptor Ubbo Enning, located on the pier in Radolfzell on Lake Constance.

This fascinating art installation also serves as a natural water level indicator - depending on the state of the lake, more or less of the sculpture is visible.

Since 1997, El Nino has become a landmark of the waterfront, often mistaken by children for a real person. Named after the Pacific weather phenomenon, the sculpture is a favorite of both local residents and tourists visiting the region.
