Galleri Riis

Galleri Riis is a renowned art gallery founded in 1972 and based in Oslo since 1980.

The gallery specializes in presenting important contemporary artworks from the Nordic countries, while offering a selective overview of the work of international artists. Figurative painting is the centerpiece of the program, but one can also admire sculptures and multimedia works that reinterpret traditional forms in innovative ways.

Relocated in 2016 to a renovated 1890s apartment building, the gallery combines historical ambience with modern art to create a unique place for art lovers.
