The Permanent Closed Zoo in the Orangerie Park is a former attraction of Strasbourg that is now defunct. Despite the zoo's closure, the park itself remains a charming place with a rich history dating back to Napoleonic times.

The park is famous for its white storks - a symbol of Alsace - which can still be observed on its grounds. Here you'll find a picturesque lake with cascades, the historic Josephine Pavilion and the historic Alsatian Burehiesel House, which houses a restaurant.

There are playgrounds for families, and activity lovers will appreciate the 2.2 km jogging trail.
