Réserve Naturelle du Roc de Chère

Réserve Naturelle du Roc de Chère is a unique nature reserve located on the picturesque Lake Annecy. This 69-hectare area impresses with its extraordinary geological and biological diversity.

The reserve is home to Mediterranean plant species, such as the marzanna and montpelier maple, as well as plants that prefer cooler conditions, such as rhododendrons. Small forest mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles can be found here.

A short, scenic trail offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Access to the reserve is free, and guided tours are offered from June through September.
