Agricol Perdiguier Square

Square Agricol Perdiguier is a charming corner in the heart of Avignon with a fascinating history. Once the garden and cloister of a Benedictine abbey, it was later transformed into a botanical garden under the direction of botanist Esprit Requien.

Redeveloped in 1990-91, it delights with the remains of a Gothic cloister, fountains and lush Mediterranean vegetation. It's the perfect place to take a break amidst the historic architecture.
