Palais L'Imperial

Palais L'Imperial is one of the last palaces built in Menton in 1913. It was the first building in France to be fully classified as a Historic Monument. It stands out as the most modern of all the palaces due to the advanced amenities for the time - elevators, fireplaces, bathrooms with tubs on all floors and telephones.

This architectural gem testifies to Menton's economic transformation after the arrival of the Côte d'Azur railroad, when the city became the flagship destination of the world's aristocracy. The palace offers a fascinating glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of the Belle Epoque era.
