Observatoire Ornithologique

Observatoire Ornithologique is a unique place for birders and nature lovers in the heart of the Alsatian Ill*Wald reserve.

A former poplar grove, destroyed by a storm in 1988, has been transformed into a vibrant observatory where you can view more than 130 species of birds in their natural habitat.

This is a true paradise for ornithologists and nature enthusiasts, offering a variety of ecosystems - from forest to wetlands. In addition to birds, deer and beavers can be seen here, and special observation platforms provide excellent conditions for photographing wildlife.
