Riquewihr is a charming medieval village nestled among the Alsatian vineyards, recognized as one of the 'Most Beautiful Villages of France'.

Very nice architecture and lovely houses and streets, perfect to escape the loudness of cities.
Beautiful and calm in the morning, full of life in the evenings.

Gabriela Sarbu4 years agoCharming village to visit, but something not ok i noticed. All the public toilets were closed after 6 PM. This is unforgivable for a touristic place, unless you prefer tourist piss on walls or public places...They force you to enter a restaurant this way and to order something..Do you know that tourists visit villages also after 6PM? It is more pleasant because are less tourists, most of the shops are closed, and we can visit the streets until later in the evening. Ribeauville is perfect, has many public toilets open all time.
