Description
Antibes Cathedral is a true architectural gem on the Côte d'Azur. Officially known as the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Immaculée-Conception, this Roman Catholic temple combines elements of Romanesque and Gothic styles, with a distinctive Italianate facade dating back to 1747.
The interior of the cathedral impresses with its three naves, impressive organ and priceless works of art, including the 1515 altarpiece of Our Lady of the Rosary by Louis Brea.
Don't miss the carved walnut doors depicting Antibes' patron saints Roch and Sebastian, made around 1710.
