Parc de la Citadelle

Parc de la Citadelle is a charming 12-hectare park located on the site of a former military fortress designed by Vauban in 1681. Converted into a park in 1964, it has preserved the historic elements of the fortifications, including the defensive walls, bastions and water-filled moats.

It's an ideal place for active recreation - you'll find soccer and basketball fields, an outdoor gym and children's playgrounds. Lovers of quieter forms of relaxation will appreciate the scenic walking paths among plane trees and weeping willows, as well as numerous benches and picnic tables.

The park also hosts cultural events, including the Interference music festival.
