Grand Ried

Grand Ried is a unique land located in central Alsace, between Strasbourg and Colmar. This remarkable area was created by the meandering Rhine and Ill rivers, creating a landscape of exceptional biodiversity.

Despite the regulation of the rivers, Grand Ried has retained its wild beauty and natural richness. Discover national nature reserves, zen and educational gardens, as well as numerous lakes created after sand and gravel pits.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are easy hiking trails to explore the region's natural heritage and history. Two-hour guided tours are also available.
