Logis du Haut-Koenigsbourg

Logis du Haut-Koenigsbourg is a fascinating medieval castle with over 900 years of history, located on a rocky hill in Alsace.

Rebuilt at the behest of Kaiser Wilhelm II in the early 20th century, this impressive fortress combines authentic medieval architecture with elements from the early part of the last century.

The observation deck offers a spectacular view of the Rhine Valley. Inside, visitors can enjoy recreated medieval gardens, richly decorated chambers and frescoes. The site has inspired many artists, including Goro Miyazaki and John Howe.
