Description

Château fort du Dagsbourg is a medieval fortress dating back to the 12th century, part of the Three Castles of Eguisheim complex in Alsace.

The preserved ruins of the square tower, the residential chamber and the chapel of St. Pancras transport you back to the days of knights and ladies of the court. According to local legend, the three towers of the Eguisheim castles served as sundials - the shadow of one tower falling on the facade of another indicated the time of day.

A short walk up the hill rewards you with picturesque views of the surroundings, and the romantic ruins create an unforgettable atmosphere, perfect for discovering the secrets of the past.
