Description
Domaine de Gigognan is a wine estate with a rich history dating back to ancient times, named after the Roman legionary Gigius. The first mention of the winery dates back to 1178, attesting to a centuries-old winemaking tradition.
The farm covers 110 hectares and is renowned for producing high-quality red, white and rosé wines under the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. It stands out for its ecological approach, using, among other things, grazing animals instead of chemical herbicides.
Lovers of history, wine and ecotourism will find something to enjoy here, discovering the secrets of winemaking in a picturesque setting between Avignon and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
