Description
Château Mourgues du Grès is an exceptional winery with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. The former estate of the nuns Ursulines de Beaucaire, whose name in Provençal means 'nuns of the stones,' offers an unforgettable experience for wine lovers.
The vineyard is famous for the unique terroir of the Costières de Nîmes region, where the vines grow on distinctive round stones (galets). Run by the Collard family, who were the first to plant the Syrah varietal here, it produces some of the best wines in the region.
Visitors can learn about the estate's fascinating history and innovative winemaking methods.
