No Sign Wine Bar

No Sign Wine Bar is one of the oldest pubs in Swansea, operating since 1690. The name comes from when, as a wine bar, it didn't need a signboard like other establishments.

The historic 17th century building hides a charming interior with a fireplace and antique chairs that remember the days of the famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who was a regular in the 1930s. The pub even became the inspiration for 'Wine Vaults' in his short story.

Not only is it a place with a rich history, it also has an excellent range of local food, a wide selection of beers, ciders and whiskies, and live weekend concerts.
