Los Caracoles

Los Caracoles is one of the oldest restaurants in Barcelona, operating continuously since 1835 and run by the same family for five generations.

The interior has retained its original 1960s character, with rich vintage furniture, a ham mosaic on the ceiling and Barcelona's last huge charcoal oven.

The establishment specializes in traditional Catalan dishes, including the eponymous snails, seafood paella, prosciutto and zarzuela. Over the years, the restaurant has hosted many celebrities such as Dior, Dalí and Lenny Kravitz, which adds to its unique, celebratory feel.
