avatarfilippo costaa week agoVery nice place to have dinner. The restaurant is very cozy, nicely decorated. Staff is nice and welcoming. We had a starter and a main dish. They were all good and well prepared. Food is good quality and all the dishes had very distinctive flavors. We were very satisfied with our dinner. As the place is quite small reservation in advance is recommended
avatarRay Honga week agoOne of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service here was extremely poor and, frankly, showed a hint of racial discrimination. When I was ordering and politely asked about the dishes, the waiter responded very impatiently and even said, “If you haven’t decided, don’t order.” I ordered the Seafood Chowder. The taste was acceptable, but when I got to the salmon pieces, I found multiple fish bones—at least three—which even injured my gums. I called the waiter over to inform him, but instead of apologizing, he just said that he had “never heard of such a situation before” and offered no compensation or apology-even without saying sorry. I couldn’t finish the dish because the gum was hurted. When I asked for the leftovers to be packed, only used a single paper box, which was honestly ridiculous for a dish with soup. At checkout, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but the waiter said there was no compensation or refund because “you ate it.” His attitude was rude, and when I declined to add service fee at pos machine, he showed an obvious unhappy expression. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience with unsafe food and extremely poor service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
avatarMaggie Ga month agoHere’s my take… all around great experience! My friend and I had a late dinner here, it was crowded and larger groups were being turned away - reservations seemed a good route if larger group. The waitstaff were kind, efficient and fun. We had the vegan pie and seafood chowder - both delicious! And we topped it off with the toffee pudding and ice cream which was perfectly sweet! The place itself had a traditional Irish bar feel. Great experience!
