Kaisaniemi Park

Kaisaniemi Park is the oldest public park in Helsinki, established in 1812. Named after Catharina 'Cajsa' Wahllund, who ran a restaurant here.

The park offers numerous attractions, including the 1830 University Botanical Garden, where you can enjoy exotic plants in greenhouses dating back to the 19th century.

Physical activity enthusiasts will appreciate the soccer fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. In summer, the park comes alive with concerts and festivals, and families can enjoy the playground and picnic on the grass.
