Weingut Schloss Lieser Inh. Thomas Haag is a prestigious winery run by Thomas Haag, named Winemaker of the Year 2015 according to Gault & Millau.
It is housed in an 1875 Neo-Renaissance chateau that originally belonged to oil magnate Eduardo Puricelli.
The winery is famous for its exceptional Riesling wines, made from hand-picked grapes from 25 hectares belonging to eight Grosse Lagen (Great Vineyards). They are cultivated as naturally as possible, which gives the wines their unique character and precision of flavor.
