Description
Dora Sarchese Srl is a unique winery located in picturesque Abruzzo. Its biggest attraction is the famous Fontana del Vino, a fountain with free red wine, available to all visitors.
This unique place is located on the Cammino di San Tommaso pilgrimage route connecting Rome and Ortona. The fountain is designed to bring the wine into better contact with oxygen, giving it a fresher taste and aroma.
The vineyard covers 18 hectares and produces 100,000 bottles of organic wine of the highest quality annually. For wine lovers, it is a true paradise where tradition meets modernity.

Rossana Shanklin2 months agoWe went to Cantina Dora Sarchese and walked away after an amazing experience! We loved the fact that you get Montepulciano D'Abruzzo for free from a fountain, but we really enjoyed the wine tasting! We tried about 8 different wines and absolutely loved all of them. The owner was very sweet and very knowledgeable, and went out of her way to help us choose the tasting wines. Very impressed and we will most certainly be back! Grazie mille per la vostra gentilezza!
Edward Pogodaev7 years agoHad a great tour around vineyard and cellars, people are professional and friendly. Wine testing was a nice and knowledgeable experience. Lovely family business and very warm atmosphere.
Lord Roscoe2 years agoI was there not too long ago and it was closed even though I was there within the posted hours. I don't doubt that it will be open "sometime", but I advise you not to go there if it isn't on your way.Related categories
