Description
El Coto Las Canteras is a fascinating museum known as the 'Petra of Andalusia' for its impressive stone reliefs and ruins. This former quarry, exploited from pre-Roman times until the 1960s, offers an extraordinary historical and artistic experience.
The biggest attraction is the 10,000-square-meter, 25-meter-high natural amphitheater, which maintains a constant temperature of 22°C year-round. The site combines elements of Turdetan art from the pre-Roman period and the Via Sacra Sanctuary from the 17th century.
It is the ideal place for lovers of history, architecture and natural wonders.
