Monumento a la Cultura de San Pedro is an imposing monument 33.5 meters high, designed by architect José Ignacio Morales. This monumental structure weighs 98 tons and is a symbol of the city's cultural heritage.

The monument includes numerous elements symbolizing the local culture and economy - a locomotive representing the sugar industry, crabs symbolizing the local 'Serie 23' baseball team, and statues made from recycled materials.

At the base are symbols such as a Bible, an inkwell and a pen, paying tribute to regional writers and poets.
