Description
Hviids Vinstue is the oldest wine bar in Denmark, operating continuously since 1723. It is a place full of history that has survived Copenhagen's great fires and wars.
In a cozy interior with dark wooden decor, you can enjoy traditional Danish smørrebrød sandwiches and cold beer by candlelight. Especially famous is the homemade gløgg, served from November 11 every year.
The bar also offers a good selection of wines and beers, and its location overlooking the National Theater makes it a favorite of artists and intellectuals.
