Description
Petr Bezruč Gardens is a charming park with a rich history dating back to the 19th century, when it was the pheasantry of Count Henrik Larisch-Monni.
Today it is a place full of attractions for the whole family - nature trails, bird aviaries and children's playgrounds. The park has undergone significant regeneration, gaining lighting, concrete paths and a roller-skating track.
History buffs will appreciate the numerous monuments, including one dedicated to Emperor Franz Joseph I and a bust of Petr Bezruč, a Silesian bard, unveiled in 1947.
