Černohorské rašeliniště

Černohorské rašeliniště is a unique peat bog lying in the saddle between Černa hora and Světla hora in the Giant Mountains.

In an area of 60 hectares, you can enjoy a unique ecosystem with peat reaching a depth of 2.5 meters. A specially prepared educational trail 3.5 kilometers long allows you to learn about the process of peat bog formation and its impact on the surrounding nature.

The site is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including deer. It's worth planning a visit outside the breeding season (March 15-May 31), when the trail is closed to protect sensitive species.
