Description
The Devil's Heads are unique rock carvings located in the Kokořínsko Nature Park, about 40 km north of Prague. These impressive, 9-meter-high sculptures were carved in sandstone by Václav Levý, the cook of nearby Libechov Castle, between 1841 and 1846.
The site impresses not only with its monumental devil faces, but also with its surrounding rock labyrinth, picturesque lakes and deep forests. For lovers of active recreation, there is a 9-kilometer loop, which can be completed on foot or by bicycle.
This is an ideal day trip for the whole family!
