Description
The Edro III shipwreck is a fascinating tourist attraction on the coast of Cyprus. This massive cargo ship ran aground during a massive storm in 2011 as it sailed from Limassol to Rhodes. The nine-person crew was safely rescued, but the ship itself remained stranded off the rocky shore.
Partially submerged in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean, the rusted hull creates a dramatic contrast with the turquoise sea and rugged coastline. It is a paradise for photographers and explorers who appreciate maritime history and natural beauty.
