Description
Agios Kendeas is a unique church located in the heart of the Old Town of Paphos, Cyprus. Built in 1923 and officially opened in 1952, it is an important part of the city's religious and cultural heritage.
The temple is dedicated to Saint Kendeas, revered in Cyprus for his miraculous healings and intercessions.
The church, although not an ancient building, is stunning in its location among the charming streets of the Old Town. It makes an excellent spot when visiting nearby attractions such as the Baths of Adonis and Aphrodite or the picturesque backstreets of the upper town.
