Description
Smigies Nature Trail is a scenic hiking trail located on the Akamas Peninsula in Cyprus. It offers two routes: a shorter 2.5 km route and a longer 6 km route that takes you through abandoned magnesium mines and furnaces.
The route offers breathtaking views of the coast, including Lara Bay and Chrysochous Bay. You can also enjoy views of Polis, Pachyammos and Paphos Forest.
The trail is home to unique flora and fauna, including the endemic Cypriot ożanku and golden drop, as well as the elusive Cypriot pokeweed and the majestic Cypriot viper.
