Description
Chantara Waterfall is a picturesque natural wonder hidden in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. The name comes from the Cypriot word 'anatra', meaning 'the sound of water'.
The water falls from an impressive height of eight meters, forming a small pond at the foot. The surroundings of the waterfall are stunning with a variety of trees - plane trees, ivies, pines and oaks create a soothing, fragrant atmosphere.
This is an ideal place for nature lovers, photographers and adventurers. The surrounding hiking trails offer routes of varying levels of difficulty, with breathtaking views of the mountain scenery.
