Aphrodite Delights -Loukoumi Geroskipou-Old factory

Aphrodite Delights -Loukoumi Geroskipou-Old factory is a historic candy manufactory that has been in operation since 1895, when Sophocles Athanasiou established his confectionery in his native village of Geroskipou, Cyprus.

Traditional Cypriot Loukoumi delicacies, made according to a recipe handed down from generation to generation, received Protected Geographic Indication status in 2007 as the first Cypriot product.

At the factory, visitors can learn about the production process of these unique sweets, which are prepared from simple ingredients like sugar and cornstarch, and then enriched with various flavors, fruits and nuts.
