Foinikas Templar Knights village

Foinikas Templar Knights village is a fascinating place full of history and mystery. Founded in 1192 by the Templar Order, the village served as their administrative capital in Cyprus.

The stone buildings with an imposing mansion on the highest point of the complex reflect medieval defensive architecture. The village flourished from the 14th to 16th centuries, famous for its sugar plantations and silk production.
