Description
José Martí Memorial is a monumental tribute to one of Cuba's most revered heroes. At 142 meters tall, this star-shaped tower is the tallest structure in Havana and offers breathtaking views of the city from its 129-meter-high viewing platform.
At the base of the obelisk is a 17-meter marble statue of José Martí in a pensive pose. The first floor museum contains fascinating exhibits on Martí's life and legacy, including correspondence, writings and personal items.
