Croatian Museum of Tourism

The Croatian Museum of Tourism is located in the historic Villa Angiolina in Opatija, a building with a 170-year history.

The museum presents a fascinating story about the development of tourism in Croatia through permanent and temporary exhibitions. On the second floor there is a two-part exhibition dedicated to Opatija as the cradle of Croatian tourism and the history of tourism in the country.

The collection includes unique documents, old photographs, postcards and other exhibits that trace how tourism has influenced the development of the country and its people.
