Trsat castle park is a unique combination of history and nature in the heart of Rijeka. This picturesque park surrounding a 13th-century castle impresses with its native vegetation and respect for the natural rocky landscape.
The bastions and walls of the castle offer breathtaking views of the Gulf of Kvarner. The park was designed by architect Zlatko Prikril and horticulture expert Josip Kulfanek in the interwar period.
In summer, the castle comes alive with outdoor concerts, theatrical performances and fashion shows, making it a vibrant cultural center.
