Description
Safari Park, Brijuni is a unique attraction combining the fauna of Istria with exotic animals from South America, Africa and Asia.
The park is famous for its diverse species, including ostriches, peacocks (including albino), llamas, zebras and sacred Indian cows. Of particular interest is the history of the animals - many were gifts from world leaders to Josip Broz Tito, former president of Yugoslavia.
In the Ethno Park section, you can see a typical Istrian farm with local animal species such as Pramenka sheep, donkeys and goats.
