Morazán Park

Morazán Park is an oasis of tranquility in the heart of San José. The centerpiece of the park is the Versailles-inspired Temple of Music, a charming gazebo where concerts are held every Sunday.

The park is named after Francisco Morazán, a 19th-century general who tried to unite the nations of Central America. Here you'll find numerous monuments to historical Latin American and Costa Rican figures.

In the evening, the park is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax in the shade of the trees and attend the many art festivals and cultural events.
